ABOUT WILLIAM FAGAN
I am an experienced life, leadership and business coach. My coaching style is what I would call co-active, where the coach and client take responsibility for the relationship and give power to it by specifying at the outset—and on-going—what they want to achieve and exactly what they want to be. The client determines what he wants from the coach, and I make inquiries, requests and suggest go forward actions. I believe that we are naturally creative, resourceful and whole and already possess most of what we need to take our lives to the next level.
I am a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute and a member of the International Coach Federation.

My intuitive and analytical approaches to business helped positively impact the growth of the companies I worked for in the marine industry, oil and gas service industry, process equipment industry and electronics manufacturing. My 25 years in electronics helped me develop vast international business experience by developing distribution channels in areas where there was no prior representation.
I began to learn what men in professional positions struggle with as a National Sales Manager at the age of 26. A particularly valuable experience was a six month “Christ Renews” program, in which we helped each other unpack our baggage and climb a path to spiritual renewal and redemption in a non-judgmental environment of loving and caring.
“My hope for my clients is that they will have a life or business filled with meaning, purpose and satisfaction.”
Another pivotal point was my volunteer work as a mentor to incarcerated inmates who were attempting to matriculate into society. The program had a significantly higher success rate than those inmates who only dealt with a Parole Officer. This lead me to work in the recovery community, where I had success helping those committed to recovery with their life planning, from staying sober, 12 step work, to coaching guys and helping triggered spouses and significant others heal from the abuse of the addict.
Most of my initial coaching was pro bono with guys in the recovery community; I also coached executives at my corporate job as well as an external business client.
I left the corporate world in February 2019 as an employee so I could expand my private coaching practice and have been retained to do coaching and consulting by my former employer.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered:
“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.”
